Find your Fit

Young adults, teenagers, teens, punks, Goths, emos, rockers—whatever you call yourself, you tend to have one thing in common. Somewhere sneaking around your daily thoughts is the destructive and very normal idea that ‘you’re not good enough’. It could be ‘not good enough for a particular boy’ or ‘not good enough for a parent or teacher’, or simply you think you’re not pretty/good looking enough or sporty enough or tall or skinny enough.

Now if you don’t ever think this, then you’re one of the lucky few and this information isn’t for you. We’d still love to hear from you because you’ve cracked a code or something. How did you learn to accept you ARE good enough? We’d love to hear from you.

Find Your Fit is all about gathering young people who feel that, in some way, they’re not good enough, into one JEAN TEEN ARMY and by sharing, offering advice, exchanging experiences, maybe, just maybe, you can find out why you ARE good enough and how to keep knowing that for the rest of your life.

The world is full of adults who still harbour that belief. Let’s stop those toxic thoughts before you become one of those adults.

So the thought behind the Jean Teen Army is that we generally have a favourite pair of jeans—maybe yours are stretch or skinny or bootleg, low or high rise. It doesn’t matter. You’ve found your fit. Now it’s time to find your fit in life.

It doesn’t make sense to try to fit yourself into someone else’s jeans, so why would you want to compare yourself to them ie to fit into their life, when you have your own perfect fit?

Later I'll blog about how to find your fit and why it's important. If you want to stop feeling like you're not good enough, keep reading or subscribe to my website to receive a free book which quickly tells you how to change how you feel about yourself.
